1.St. Vincent and the Grenadines is located in the Windward Islands on the southern end of the Caribbean chain. Identify the flag and capital. Locate it on a map.

4. Straw baskets, jewelry and wall hangings are only a few of the handicrafts you will find at the local markets. Create a craft or project using a traditional a skill OR jewelry OR observe someone creating a handicraft OR create a craft that represents St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

5. The botanical gardens expand about twenty acres on the islands. Some of the trees and flowering plants are the breadfruit tree, heliconia, orchid, hibiscus, and jade vine. Learn more about one of the plants or trees located in St. Vincent and the Grenadines such as the color or shape of it.

6. Petroglphs are the works of stone left by the Pre-Columbian Indians. View a stone carving via the internet, books, or a museum.

7. St. Vincent and The Grenadines participate in many sports and games. Some of these sports include soccer, cricket, netball, squash, volleyball, and windsurfing. Common games for children are dominos and card games. Play a game or sport or learn more about a sport, such as famous athlete, or equipment they use.

8. Arrowroot is a common staple uses for a thickener in cooking. Common food and vegetables are mangoes, pineapples, eddoes, yams, pigeon peas, dasheen, tannias, and cassavas. Try a recipe, food, fruit or vegetable from St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Examples of celebrations include: Whit Monday, Carnival Tuesday, New Years Day, Christmas, and Independence Day.

11. Music is a large part of their culture. Calypso, Reggae and Jazz are just a few of the musical genres that they play. Try a dance, listen to music, OR view dances online.

12. Snorkeling, Swimming, windsurfing, and boating are common activities along the island beaches. Participate in a water activity, learn more about marine life, make a paper boat, or create a sea life craft.

13. They have moon nights in local villages dedicated to telling stories, jokes, or riddles. Read a story, create a riddle or joke OR listen a story or riddle online.

14. The traditional dress of the people in St. Vincent and the Grenadines of women is a white top with a colorful loose full skirt or a sleeveless dress with a full skirt. Men wear pants and a cotton shirt.
