The true meaning of the Blue Angel

Being a blue angel teaches us to be kind and giving to others when we can. Help our fellow neighbors and love one another.

It gives you the opportunity to deliver items anonymously and blend into the blue sky as for no one to know you were there; you are left with the joy in your heart from giving and the knowledge that someone has benefited from your generosity.

On the other hand, you may be a glowing delight at nursing homes, special needs children and cancer patients.

This is our most prized patch program that we hope one day will spread well known across the United States and world to bring a greater peace to those in need.

This space below is for information we have recd about how you helped others:

It fills our hearts when we receive feed back of groups or individuals reaching out to their community and area. We look forward to hearing of your adventures as you complete the program.

This program has help guide us through the year and make community service a basis for our program this year. --Girl Scouts in VA.

Thank you for helping us reach out to our community and to others. The girls really enjoyed working on the projects and we ended up completing all of them.--Girl Scouts in CA

We worked on the projects as a service unit and it really helped the leaders with activities for the year. At the end of the year they were awarded the Blue Angel Patch for their work in our community. Scouts in PA

Our troop completed all the projects on the program. As we completed a project we took a picture of each girl. At the begining of the next meeting they attached the photo in a scrapbook with some stickers. At the end of the school year we took a picture of the girls with their patches and rewarded them with their scrapbooks at our end of year event. The parents and girls were excited to receive their blue angel scrapbook for the year.

We enjoy helping others...thank you for the wonderful ideas. Homeschoolers in TX

COMMUNITY SERVICE: “On my honor I will try … to help people at all times…” All St. Rose School Girl Scouts (SRSGS) have united our community service goals in an effort to maximize our contributions and minimize our workload. Each troop has sponsored a monthly drive of their choice and at the end of the year ALL SRSGS will have earned the “Blue Angel Community Service Patch”. Whenever and wherever you can contribute is greatly appreciated! ! Thank you for developing this exciting patch! Work like it all depends on you, Pray like it all depends on God. ~St. Augustine
