Make Believe [1 1/2 inch patch]
Earn this mini patch by using your imagination, acting, and writing stories. USE THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS AS A GUIDE> COMPLETE 11. Use your imagination by pretending to be someone or something, or participating in a play. 2. Gather items from around your home to create a make believe play area. Examples: Turn chairs and a sheet into a fort, use pillows and other items to build places to relax or read, or use boxes as playhouses. 3. Make sock or finger puppets. Use your imagination and communication skills to create characters and adventures. (Also use your creative skills to create your puppets) 4. Use your creativity and imagination to create unique art projects. Examples: Jewelry making, colorful picture frames, and more. 5. Create something magical to use or play with. Examples: Fairy houses, wands, crowns, and more. 6. Dress up as a make believe character. Create an accessory, outfit, or wear something you already own. Examples: Princess, wizard, fairy, superhero and more. 7. Participate in a play, story or short act. What was your character? Did you use your imagination to make believe you are that character? 8. Art can start your creativity and allow you to create something wonderful and unique. Start with a blank paper and draw your ideas and designs. 9. Start a scrapbook or sketch book with designs and imaginative characters. This will keep all your wonderful ideas and designs in one place to share with others. 10. Engaging in make believe play helps build your imagination and creativity. Play with your toys using your imagination. Examples: blocks, dolls, kitchen sets, dress up clothing, and more. 11. Gather up various art supplies and recycled items from around your house to create something. Examples: beaded necklaces, pasta art, pom pom pets, tissue paper art, and construction paper designs. 12. Play an imagination game with your family or friends. Examples: The floor is lava, I spy, charades, guess what animal I am, scavenger hunt and more. 13. Create something magical in the kitchen. Use your imagination when you help decorate cupcakes, cookies, pizza and more. Maybe you want to make monster cupcakes or smiley face pizzas. 14. Take a class, attend an event or workshop that sparks creativity. Examples: pottery, cookie decorating, wreath decorating, painting, and more. 15. Escape the real world and jump into an imaginary world. Examples: Participate in an escape room, attend a fair, theme park, play workshop and more. 16. Think out of the box and participate in an opportunity to learn more and use your creativity through science. Examples: Make slime, play dough, ice cream, and other projects.
