| Organizations are sending supplies to Haiti and assisting 
                            them in rebuiling their houses. Use this art project 
                            to give to those that donated money for this cause. How 
                            do I get started? Materials needed: 
                           Scrap cardboard or matboard  pencil and permanent markers  stick glue and scissors  small paint brush and white glue [not washable]  EnviroTex Lite or Polyurethane popsicle stick  pin back or magnet  hot glue gun (attach the pin)    
                             
                              |  | Draw a triangle and a square on your cardboard 
                                  with a pencil. Use your scissors to cut out your triangles 
                                  and squares.  Use a glue stick to glue the pieces 
                                  together |   
                              |  | Use the permanent markers to 
                                design and color. Don't forget the edges and the 
                                back! Sign the back with your artistic signature. |   
                              |  | Use your glue stick to attach the decorated 
                                  pieces together. Take your paint brush dip 
                                  it in Elmer's Glue and lightly brush 
                                  it on top of the decorated house. Let dry.   |   
                              |  | Mix up the EnviroTex, purchased 
                                at the local craft store. (read the directions 
                                carefully). MUST be used outside. If you can't 
                                use this product, Put on about 4 coats of Polyurethane 
                                (let dry between coats). |   
                              |  | Using your popsicle stick drizzle 
                                the coating onto the houses. Aim for an even coating. 
                                You only need to do the front side and 
                                edges of the house. Let dry overnight. |   
                              |  | Hot glue on a pin or attach a magnet 
                                to the back of the house. [Optional: place on 
                                a card] Sell your items in front of stores, at 
                                a bake sale, relatives and friends. $3-$5.00 each.

                            Sell Your Creations 
                             
                              Ask stores, 
                                churches, or local companies  or any 
                                organization or clubs you may belong to such as 
                                your Senior Citizens Center, Garden Center, Book 
                                Club, Women's or Men Groups, etc. and ask them 
                                if they would like to purchase or let you set 
                                up a table to sell your pins or magnets to support 
                                the Haiti relief 
                              Set up 
                                a table at your next bake sale, or 
                                just for Haiti Relief at one of the above mentioned 
                                organizations. Be creative and think about how 
                                you can sell your creations. You may wish to have 
                                them on a display board, place them on nice cards, 
                                or arange them on tablecloth for display. 
                              If you are a teacher, scout leader, 
                                day care provider. use this art project for your 
                                children to express themselves 
                                through art and sell their creations for a great 
                                cause! 
                              Have an event and ask them to 
                                donate funds. In return they can receive 
                                a Haiti house pin or Magnet. Depending on the 
                                dollar amount. You can reward the donors with 
                                silver or gold houses. In addition, if they wish 
                                to make a large donation they can have a variety 
                                of houses to give to their family members and 
                                friends. Large donations should be made payable 
                                to an organization sponsoring this cause or they
